Follow on blog series and case study analysis from the 2013 research study conducted by SAGE in consultation with Claire Creaser of LISU (part of Loughborough University), and Lucy Browse of International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP), investigating library value in the developing world. Outline of the findings following a year’s work with 6 case study universities from the original report to analyse the communication between librarians and their users and the role that publishers can play in helping to both support and facilitate the use of resources to raise awareness of the library with users and senior managers.
